Staying positive, when it is SO easy to be negative
Handling what life hands out in a positive manner, doesn’t keep you from having to face bad things, it just helps you to get through them easier!
Why is it SO difficult to have faith, when we are faced with SO many things to fear?
When you take something on faith, then you have to trust that God has a purpose in the path that he wants you to take even when you are afraid. Fear can keep us from following the path that God wants us to follow.
How do we know that the morality that we are looking at, may actually, instead, be a mirage?
Be careful of the people who “appear” to have good morals when they show by their actions that say otherwise. They are corrupt and not worthy of your praise.
Why does greed keep us from God?
When we constantly want what others have, then we have let greed overcome our need for God.
How is having pride different from being proud?
Having pride is more about our own glory and not about the glory of God. We need to glorify God in all that we do and pride stands in the way of that.
Okay, God, help me with this….why do You say that I need to forgive others?
It’s never easy to forgive someone who’s wronged you, but we can’t go where God needs us to go, if we keep hanging onto the past. It’s for your benefit, not theirs for you to give it over to God.
Are you being THE BEST YOU, that you want others to see?
The words that come from our mouths matter. Our words have the ability to hurt or heal. So, we must always do our best to think before we speak.

We are all called to discipleship so that we can become the light that allows God to shine through. Church is a mindset that helps us to say, “God is first in my life.”. We show this through our actions, not just our words.
