When Pride Stands in the Way of Our Progress

Our pride in ourselves has a sneaky way of keeping us from being closer to God. Why? It’s because we begin to value ourselves and our own personal opinions over those of God. In order to fix that we need to humble ourselves before God and ask for His forgiveness.

Beware Of The Ego Trap!

Check your ego at the door unless you want to be humbled, because it can and will happen if you aren’t careful. Turn yourself towards a big and powerful God who loves you and knows what you can do when you serve God in your service to others instead of yourself.

Accountability For Some Is A Dirty Word

It’s so hard to see how we act or what we say can be and are harmful to others but is not flattering of ourselves as well. Recognize your faults and work to change them. Once you do that, then those bad deeds no longer have a hold over you. You have become a new creation.

“Are you looking for advice or do you just want to be heard?”

Take the time to listen first to each other. It’s so easy to take what that person is saying or doing personally. Remember that it’s not about you, it’s about them. Help others by listening to what they have to say and process those emotions. We can ALL do more of that!

The Repetitive Pattern

We have become stuck in pattern of receiving love and promises from God, revering Him for a while, then forgetting what He’s done for us. That is, until we need Him again. No more! Wake up and recognize that we have the ability to change that pattern once and for all!

I’m NOT Greedy… I Just Want Them ALL!!

I want ALL of creation on the whole Earth to come to know our God! He wants us to open ourselves to Him and welcome us into out lives. When we do that then our love and joy for Him will shine like the brightest beacon and draw others towards that light.

The Church Within (Our Daily Bread)

When you put God as the focal point of your life, you are not the same! You have become a new creation and the old you is gone. You will find that everything that you do looks and feels different as well when He is at the center.
